Welcome to K1AWh!

It has been an exciting week in K1AWh! The children have all enjoyed meeting each other, getting to know myself and Ms Sue and growing acquainted with our classroom. They have managed to overcome their initial nerves and it has been fantastic to see them smiling and enjoying themselves. 

I will be posting on this blog every two weeks, so please make sure you check it regularly to keep up to date with what is going on in K1AWh. We will be sharing our learning through these updates, along with important reminders.

Initial things to remember:

• Please ensure all your child's belongings are clearly labeled. 
• Make sure your child has a separate box for brainfood, snack and lunch. These need to be clearly labeled with your child's name and 'brainfood', 'snack', 'lunch'. It is helpful if your child has a zip up container that these can all be kept in.
• Please send in a set of spare clothes in a labelled plastic bag that we can keep in the classroom.
• Hats will be left at school during the week and returned on a Friday for washing.
• Early pick up (12:15pm) starts Monday the 25th of August. Please do plan to take advantage of this as the days are very long and busy for our new K1 students and rest time is really helpful to their transition.
• Please return the Parent Teacher request form, Emergency Contact form and the Infant Survey as soon as possible.
